Rilwan Alokunle

The late Rilwan Olasunkanmi Alowonle was the first President of Egbe omo Oduduwa at its inception in 1995, an organization that he helped form. Rilwan is from the famous Alowonle family of Ikorodu, where he grew up, as well as Lagos Island. He graduated from Mayflower High School, Ikenne, Ogun State. He was among the early students that moved to Minnesota, United States in 1976 and attended St. Cloud State University before transferring to the University of Minnesota (Go Gophers!).

Alhaji (Engr.) Gbolahan Isiaka

Alhaji Gbolahan Isiaka Gbadamosi was born and raised in Lagos Island, Lagos State, Nigeria. Both his parents were from Ikorodu, Lagos State. An indigene of Lagos State, he likes to describe himself as a Lagosian by birth and state of origin, and Ijebu by tongue and tribe. Alhaji Gbadamosi moved to the state of Minnesota in March 1982, where he has been an active and visible member of the Nigerian community both locally and nationally.

Babatunde Adesiji

Babatunde Adesiji the 4th President of Oduduwa popularly known as Baba Marshall was born in Lagos, Nigeria. He was educated at the Holy Trinity Elementary School, Ebute-Ero, Lago Nigeria in 1962. He attended and then graduated in 1967 from Ahmadiyya Grammar School.

In February 1972, he went to America to further pursue his studies at Southwest State University in Marshall, Minnesota.

Mrs Toyin K. Alowonle

Mrs Toyin K. Alowonle was the 5th President elect of Egbe Omo Oduduwa and the longest to have served in that office. She was president from January 2006 to December 2018. Toyin witnessed the formation of Egbe Omo Oduduwa Organization, which was formed in 1995 for the purpose of fostering unity, sharing resources, promoting economic, social and cultural advancement among the Yorubas in Minnesota and their offspring.

Pastor Goke Odujole

Egbe Omo Oduduwa, Minnesota experienced a spirited revival through the unified efforts of some dedicated Yoruba residents in the Twin Cities—including Pastor Goke Odujole, their vision, passion, and commitment were instrumental in the reawakening. These efforts culminated in his election as the 6th President in December 2017, ushering in a transformative era defined by integrity, strategic focus, and a deep commitment to youth empowerment.
