Hello my name is Morounmubo Elizabeth Fajemirokun. I graduated from Shakopee High School where I was a part of Student Council has a representative of my year. In addition to that I was a part of HOSA which is the Health Occupational Students of America where I was the Vice President. During my Senior year I had the opportunity to be in the CAPSs program which is the Center for advanced professional studies where I got the chance to intern with the Saint Francis capable kids center which is a pediatric therapy facility. This fall I will be attending the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities to study Child Psychology. From this I plan to continue my education to become a Physician Assistant.
One quote I kept with me throughout my time in high school is “that the future belongs to those who prepare for it today” – Malcom X.
A person I do look at as a role model is Michelle Obama. She is a strong black woman who persevered through a multitude of hardships and still accomplished her goals which is what I set out to do.
