Toseanessy Stewart

I am Tosean Stewart and I attended Park High School in Cottage Grove and will be attending Inver Grove Community College for an associate degree and will be pursuing a double major in Psychology and Sociology at a four year college after the completion of my associate degree.  I was an all-round sports person in high school where I ran track, played football, and basketball. I was the school captain of the track team and we placed third in our true team meet and went on to State level.  I excelled in all my social studies classes like World Wars, US history, African American history.

I cherish my Yoruba heritage from my mother side, a woman of inner strength, unparallel love and dignity.  I live with her and brother Tayvion. I enjoy listening to music and watch movies and hang-out with friends. In my study of American History, I cherish to meet the deities of the Yoruba culture, particularly Oduduwa which I understand to be the progenitor of the Yoruba people.
